On May 4, Smartvatten releases a new version of HUB. Built to make water data easier to understand, easier to act on, and harder to ignore.
For too long, water management has been reactive, fragmented, and unnecessarily difficult. Data has existed but turning it into action has often taken too much time, too much effort, and too much interpretation.
That is exactly what this HUB update is designed to change.
Why HUB is being updated
Behind the new experience is a major platform upgrade: Smartvatten is consolidating four legacy systems into one best-of-breed HUB solution. The update also includes a modernised database model that increases performance, enables additional sensors to be connected, and creates the foundation for more advanced logic—paving the way for future automation and AI capabilities as HUB continues to evolve.
The goal is to create a world-class water management platform for Real Estate, enabling every drop to be counted from the main water meter via submeters to individual leak sensors. To reflect this ambition, Smartvatten is structuring it´s offering into the three services of PRIME (main meter monitoring), NODE (submetering) and SENSE (local leak sensors), which can all be combined in the HUB.
With a more intuitive interface, improved reporting, and new apartment-level visibility, Smartvatten HUB gives users a clearer view of what is happening in their buildings and a stronger foundation for acting before small issues become expensive problems.
What’s new in HUB
The new HUB release makes building data easier to see and act on—with new apartment-level visibility, clearer reporting, and a smoother day-to-day interface.
Main new features include:
Support for connection of additional sensors (leak sensors, humidity, temperature, smoke)
Support for integration of most of the market´s existing submeter systems, enabling a consolidated view across Real Estate portfolios, regardless of legacy meter infrastructure.
Consumption and leak break-down per apartment/subspace, adapted to suit the needs of both residential and commercial properties.
Hourly, daily, and monthly views for faster analysis
Indoor climate data surfaced alongside water data
Improved reporting with a clearer, consistent format across monthly, daily, and hourly reports
Usability updates across the platform to further improve and simplify the user experience.
And this is only the beginning
More improvements are already on the way.
Future updates include:
Increased flexibility for user and alarm management
Additional customization options for leak alerting
AI driven refinements to further improve the leak detection capability
Step by step, Smartvatten HUB is becoming an even stronger tool for proactive water management, giving users more control, more flexibility, and less dependency on manual processes.
Challenging the old way of working with water data
Water management has traditionally been reactive and problems are discovered too late. Data is difficult to interpret and action comes after the damage is already done.
This HUB release is built to:
make data easier to understand
make insights easier to access
make action happen earlier
Because when you can see clearly, you can act faster.
